The Opportunity

Our Litigation & Dispute Resolution team is looking to hear from legal secretaries seeking their next challenge. Based in our CBD office, this role is full-time, and you will be responsible for supporting one of the leading Principals and the broader team across a broad range of secretarial and administrative duties including:

  • Assisting with preparation of court documents
  • Drafting correspondence
  • Diary and email management
  • Time entry and monthly billing; and
  • General administrative duties.

 

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role you will ideally have:

  • Minimum 4 years legal secretary experience, ideally in litigation
  • Previous experience supporting fee earners at all levels
  • Experience using iManage and Aderant preferred but not essential
  • High accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team
  • Ability to draft correspondence and documents; and
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
