We are looking for a Working Capital Specialist to join our Finance team on a full-time basis.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Working Capital Specialist to join our Finance team on a full-time basis. Based in Chatswood, the successful candidate will be responsible for working with a division of the firm’s end to end revenue process and will support the division in all aspects of revenue management activities including:

  • File management
  • Receipting
  • Billing (including complex invoicing requests and managing client special billing requirements)
  • WIP and AR management; and
  • Project work to assist with revenue related process improvement and efficiencies.

About you

The successful applicant will be able to build strong relationships and rapport with internal and external stakeholders from day one. They will bring a positive attitude and be able to effectively communicate in difficult situations and will ideally have:

  • Experience working in an accounts team – preferably within a legal firm or similar professional services industry and focussing on accounts receivable or client billing/invoicing
  • Highly developed inter-personal communication skills
  • Proactive approach to management of workflow and processes
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Accurate data entry skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage a high-volume workload
  • Strong technical skills in Excel and relevant experience in Aderant, Elite 3e or similar client/matter/finance systems.
