Jason is a Senior Associate in McCabes Brisbane Casualty group, defending public liability and workers compensation claims.

Admitted to practice in 2007, Jason has extensive court experience in various jurisdictions in Queensland including the Supreme Court, District Court, Magistrates Court, the QIRC, the AAT, the Industrial Magistrates Court and the Coroners Court.

He has acted for various trade union organisations, claimants and insurance companies in respect of minor and substantial claims, including for loss of dependency and also psychological injury arising from fatalities in construction sites, mine sites and also motor vehicle accidents.

His previous background was in criminal law having served as a Queensland police officer and a police prosecutor in the late 1990's and early 2000's, where he has prosecuted in various court jurisdictions in Brisbane.

He is a member of the Australian Lawyers Alliance and volunteers at the local community legal centre.
