About

Monika is a senior associate in the firm's Insurance and Government Divisions. She graduated from the University of Western Sydney (as it then was) in 2013 with a combined Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Business and Commerce (Applied Finance). She was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2014 and in the High Court of Australia in 2018.

Prior to joining McCabes, Monika gained a broad spectrum of experience, in areas including insurance litigation and coverage matters, equity litigation, trust disputes, professional negligence, D/O liability, property disputes, commercial disputes and litigation, personal injury, succession law, family law and criminal law.

She is experienced in relating with clients from all walks of life and including both individuals, government and corporate clients. Monika understands the need to ensure her clients are equipped with sound legal advice based on a thorough understanding of the facts of a matter, balanced with a practical and commercial approach to litigation strategy.
