Bryan has worked exclusively in insurance law with a focus upon workers’ compensation since 2003. He helps insurers and self-insureds in all aspects of claims management, from initial advice through to complex opinions, relating to indemnity, liability, causation, quantum and preparation for trial.
He is a very experienced advocate and negotiator and has represented clients at WorkCover, the Magistrates Court, the District Court, the Supreme Court and the Western Australian Court of Appeal.
Bryan has special interests in representing major retailers, construction companies and mining companies in relation to injuries suffered by their employees. He has also represented health providers.
His extensive experience with evaluating the layers of risk allocation associated with large complex enterprises ensures the provision of timely, prudent commercial advice with recommendations for strategic management of disputes.
