Cathy Hogan

Cathy's significant experience includes managing and advising on the defence of catastrophic claims and politically sensitive matters including coronial enquiries with high media exposure. Prior to joining GILD as a Legal Manager in 2002, Cathy was a Special Counsel with a large national legal firm working primarily in the areas of professional medical practice, health law and general liability. Cathy has extensive experience in advising both Australian and London based insurers and medical defence organisations and professionals on defending professional indemnity and public and product liability claims.

Cathy's focus is a commitment to bringing a sense of pragmatism, commerciality and sensitivity to the management of the claims in her practice. Cathy is dedicated to providing and ensuring excellent customer service.
