Yvonne Nguyen

Yvonne is an associate in the casualty team within McCabes' insurance division. She advises both national insurers and insureds on a range of matters, including public and product liability, professional indemnity, contractual disputes and property damage.

Yvonne has a strong background in litigation and assists clients with large-scale litigated claims involving multiple parties in the Supreme Courts across various Australian jurisdictions. She regularly advises and acts in defence of claims involving manufacturers, building contractors, engineers, architects, designers and other providers of professional services.

Prior to joining McCabes, Yvonne worked as a legal assistant in one of Sydney's leading barristers' chambers where she honed her research and drafting skills and gained extensive exposure to complex litigated claims, particularly in matters involving the construction and engineering sectors.

Yvonne holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Business (Economics) from the University of Technology Sydney and was admitted to practice as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2021.
