Kim is a Principal in the McCabes Insurance Division with over 20 years of experience as a defendant insurance litigation lawyer. She specialises in public liability, workers’ compensation, professional indemnity, product liability, and insurance disputes, and has extensive experience in medical negligence, regulatory investigations, and coronial inquiries.

Kim represents insurers and self-insured corporations across various industries, including retail, hospitality, construction, and mining. She has also acted for local councils and Government Owned Corporations.

Kim provides timely, expert, and commercial advice on liability exposure, quantum, risk management, and indemnity issues related to personal injury claims. Her role involves conducting litigation and regularly representing clients in mediations and settlement conferences across multiple jurisdictions.

Admitted as a solicitor in 2004, Kim holds a Bachelor of Business (Management) / Bachelor of Laws from QUT and a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) from UQ. She is recognised as a leading insurance lawyer by Best Lawyers.
