Sydney

In Sydney, Howard Mullen has been promoted to Special Counsel and Anoj Joseph to Senior Associate. Both promotions recognise their legal excellence and trusted counsel to clients. Howard’s strategic insight and leadership continue to add significant value across complex matters, while Anoj is recognised for his strong legal acumen, client-focused approach and growing leadership within the team.

Brisbane

Sarah Hagos and Minji Kim have been promoted to Associate. 

These promotions recognise their professionalism and developing technical expertise. Both Sarah and Minji are valued for their collaborative approach, attention to detail and positive contributions to the continued growth of the Brisbane team.

Melbourne

In Melbourne, Kathleen Syros has been promoted to Associate, reflecting her dedication, strong legal skills and ability to build trusted client relationships. Kathleen’s promotion recognises her consistent performance and meaningful contribution to McCabes. Kathleen is also a finalist in the Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 Awards 2026, across two categories – Insurance and Health, Medical and Personal Injury. Winners are to be announced in March.

Perth

Serena Martin and Peter Rutherford have been promoted to Associate. Their advancements reflect their technical capability and professionalism. Both Serena and Peter are recognised for their proactive approach and ongoing contributions to client matters and team success.
