Marko Marelic

Marko is a senior associate in the Employment group at McCabes, having joined the firm in October 2025.

Marko holds a Diploma in Law from the Legal Profession Admission Board of NSW and was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of NSW in 2011.

Marko brings extensive senior legal expertise, having held senior legal and advisory positions within NSW Health and peak industry bodies across local government, as well as the electrical and communications sectors. Earlier in his career, he served as a judge’s tipstaff in the Industrial Relations Commission and Industrial Court of NSW.

Marko is recognised for helping private and public sector clients navigate complex employment claims, delivering strategic, practical solutions across a wide range of workplace challenges. He brings expertise in high‑stakes negotiations, ensuring outcomes that protect business interests and align with organisational objectives.

Marko has a wealth of advocacy experience across Federal and State jurisdictions, appearing before the Fair Work Commission, Supreme Court of NSW, Industrial Relations Commission, and Industrial Court of NSW, as well as the Australian Human Rights Commission and Anti-Discrimination Board of NSW.
