Ren Li

Ren is a senior associate in McCabes' Insurance Division.

He is a senior health law practitioner with nearly two decades of experience acting for medical and allied health professionals, insurers, and government agencies. Ren has a focused practice in medical negligence, professional indemnity, coronial inquests, and regulatory matters, and regularly advises on complex and high‑exposure claims involving overlapping civil, disciplinary and coronial issues.

Ren has managed a large portfolio of claims and investigations across his career, including professional conduct matters, negligence litigation, and coronial proceedings. His experience includes appearances in courts and specialist jurisdictions such as the Dust Diseases Tribunal, as well as representing clients in investigations by regulatory bodies including the Health Care Complaints Commission and Medical Council of NSW.
