About

Yasemin is an associate in the Insurance Division at McCabes, working in the Casualty group. She advises and defends national insurers and insured clients across a broad range of casualty matters including public liability, personal injury, common law claims and statutory recoveries brought by the Victorian Workcover Authority under the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013 (Vic). She has experience managing unlitigated and litigated claims from early investigation through to resolution, with a focus on delivering practical and commercially sound outcomes.

Yasemin was the runner up in the 2025 Australian Insurance Law Association (AILA) Young Professionals Public Speaking Competition and is passionate about developing strong professional relationships with clients and within the broader legal and insurance industry.

Yasemin holds a Bachelor of Laws from La Trobe University and was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2023.
