About

Toby is a Special Counsel in McCabes Corporate team. He has over 35 years' experience in providing commercial legal advice in Sydney.

Toby has a diverse practice with extensive experience providing commercial advice and processing transactional work for medium sized and family businesses. In addition, Toby has been involved in high value refinancing matters for borrowers and is well acquainted with lender requirements.

Throughout his career, Toby has gained enjoyment and satisfaction from assisting individuals and businesses to operate in the legal environment.

His practice covers a wide range of commercial matters including structuring business organisations, purchase and sale of businesses and companies, terms and conditions of trade, and Shareholders' Agreements. Toby advises proprietors of large commercial buildings with the acquisition and disposal of those buildings and leasing matters.

As an Accredited Business Law Specialist and a Committee Member of the Business Law Specialist Accreditation Advisory Committee of the Law Society of NSW he participates in setting and marking the assessments for the business area of law in the Specialist Accreditation Program. Toby is also a Member of the Commercial Law Association of Australia.
