Lucy is an associate in the Government Division, where she focuses on the management and defence of historical institutional tort claims including sensitive, complex and high quantum matters, including litigated matters in the District and Supreme Courts of NSW.
Lucy holds a Bachelor of Arts (Criminology) a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from Macquarie University. Lucy was admitted to practice in 2020 in NSW and the High Court in 2022.
Prior to joining McCabes, Lucy had a combined practice specialising in historical institutional tort claims and health matters. Lucy has gained experience in a wide range of medical negligence and professional indemnity matters, acting on behalf of public and private hospitals, nursing staff, aged care facilities and allied health practitioners in litigated and unlitigated civil claims, regulatory complaints and coronial inquests.
