Genevieve Vafeas

Genevieve is a litigation lawyer in the McCabes Insurance division. She draws on a broad range of experience including public and product liability, property damage, regulatory investigations, consumer law, medical negligence, worker common law claims and statutory recoveries. Her client base includes a diverse range of industries including retail, manufacturing, energy, construction and property management. She has acted for clients in the Supreme and County Courts and the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal.

Clients benefit from Genevieve's technical expertise and strategic advice on liability, policy coverage, quantum assessment and claims management to achieve cost effective outcomes.

Prior to her career in private practice, Genevieve completed an Associateship at the Administrative Appeals Tribunal which provides her with a unique perspective to litigation.

Genevieve holds a Juris Doctor from Melbourne Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne.
