Clare Bonner

Clare is a special counsel in the Government division with over 11 years' experience. She manages a diverse portfolio of liability and professional indemnity claims, as well as policy coverage matters.

Clare's primary practice consists of the defence of liability and professional indemnity claims against various insureds such as landlords, government corporations and statutory bodies, owners corporations, occupiers, builders, product sellers and distributors, property service providers, brokers, architects and councils.

She also manages claims against insureds in liquidation or under external administration, and matters involving interstate and overseas jurisdictional issues.

Clare spent almost 2 years on secondment at a major international insurer. Her knowledge and understanding of client needs informs her strategic, practical approach, directed towards early resolution and best outcomes for her clients.
