Lisa Harrison

Lisa commenced at McCabes in 2026 and brings over three years' experience acting for national and global insurers. Lisa has a focus on factually and/or legally complex claims in public liability (in both personal injury and property damage claims) and professional indemnity matters, including providing liability and indemnity advice. Lisa practices across multiple jurisdictions, including Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia, and Queensland.

Lisa is well-regarded for their skills in unpacking highly technical issues, including obtaining and digesting expert evidence, and working collaboratively with Senior Counsel to achieve commercial results for their clients. Lisa is an experienced advocate in directions hearings, interlocutory applications, mediations, and settlement conferences.

Lisa was previously Associate to the Honourable Justice Incerti of the Supreme Court of Victoria in the Common Law and Criminal Divisions, and Associate to (then) Judicial Registrar Clayton of the Supreme Court (now Judge Clayton of the County Court).

Lisa graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Laws (with Honours) and Bachelor of Arts majoring in international studies. They were admitted as a lawyer of the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2019 and High Court of Australia in 2022.
